AVA Special Programs: 6/10K walk: Boardwalks, Bridges, Points of Reference, Walk the USA St. by St., Walk the USA A to Z: A.
DESCRIPTION: Park opens at 8am. Registration is between 8:30-10 am. With friends, alone, or with your pet walk 6 or 10 km in the Park's woods, on the shaded Seminole-Wekiva Trail, and residential areas along the Little Wekiva River. Leashed pets are allowed. DIRECTIONS: The Park is at 401 W. Highland St. Altamonte Springs. From Orlando on I-4E use Exit 92, Altamonte Springs/Apopka, and turn left. Right immediately on Douglas Ave. after crossing I-4. Left on Highland St. From Sanford take Exit 94, Longwood/Winter Springs. Right on SR 434 and very quickly left to the light on Douglas Ave.. Right on Highland St. Both right into park and immediately right then curve left to start on the left. Info on day of walk, call 407.920.3174. GPS: 28.6757015,-81.3963726.

AVA Special Programs: 5/10K walk: Points of Reference, Ice Cream parlors, Walking the USA A - Z:A.
DESCRIPTION: Registration is between 8:30-9:00 am. The 5 & 10km self-paced walks are open to anyone and fun for all. The route is on both Altamonte Springs Mall floors and is air conditioned. The walk is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Pets are not allowed. You may drive or walk to the mall. If walking, add 2K to your distance. Please carry water. Trail Ratings: 1A. DIRECTIONS: To Altamonte Springs Starbucks at 355 E Altamonte Dr. #1700 on I-4E/W use exit 92, FL436/Semoran Av., turn right (left from I-4W). Start: : Between 8-8:30 am all except Orlando Downtown/South that are 9:00-9:30 am.
DESCRIPTION: WALKS (not group walks) - Take the family, friends, grandkids, yourself to a new walking location/route. Please NOTE: We also have a traditional Guide Bike Event on 21 July in Oviedo.

DESCRIPTION: Park opens at dawn. Join us and register between 8-8:30 This 25K event rides west on the Cross Seminole Trail and back to the Oviedo Town House Restaurant for brunch before finishing at the trailhead. Restroom available at start and Central Winds Park. Helmet required. Water required - suggest you carry 2 waters or hydrating pack for your safety. DIRECTIONS: The Trailhead is at 1020 Jetta Point, Winter Springs, FL 32708. From Orlando on FL408E use Exit 18, FL417N/Sanford. Exit at #44/SR434. Left on SR434W and left very quickly into The Watermark at Vistawilla. Left immediately onto Jetta Point. From Daytona/Sanford use SR417S for 11 miles to Exit 44. Right and left very quickly into The Watermark at Vistawilla. Left immediately onto Jetta Point. From I-4E/W use Exit 94/Longwood/Winter Springs. Turn right from eastbound and left from westbound for 10.3 miles to Trailhead on right just after Speedway and before SR417 overpass. Right into The Watermark at Vistawilla.
