18 August 2018 Tibet-Butler Preserve, FL 535
AVA Special Programs: 5/10K walk: Boardwalks, Food for Thought, Points of Reference, Walk in a City Park, Walk the USA A-Z: O.

DESCRIPTION: Register between 8:30-10 am and walk 5 or 10km in this pristine preserve. It is the home of the Vera Carter Environmental Center which provides a variety of exhibits and displays. Hike on miles of trails and support available environmental programs. The preserve opens at 8 am. Pets are not allowed. Wheelchairs are not recommended and larger strollers should be OK. Restrooms at start only. Info, call 407.695.9181. (NOTE: The Preserve has received much rain over the last 45 days and is wet in places, shoe and socks wet water. We suggest that you wear boots if available or old shoes. Bring a pair of socks and shoes to change into. The last part of the 10K is dry. Alternatively, we developed a 5K and 10K DRY route that you can use. Please come on out and enjoy the Preserve, the Vera Carter Education Center, and meet other walkers.)

DIRECTIONS: To Tibet-Butler at 8777 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, Orlando, from Orlando use I-4W to exit 68, Lake Buena Vista. Right onto FL 535N. Left at second light onto Winter Garden-Vineland Rd. for 6.5 miles to preserve on the right. Start is near the environmental center. Info on day of walk, call 407.304.6394. 1 Septemeber 2018 Orlando North
AVA Special Programs: 5/10K walk: See at Registration or MFM web site.

DESCRIPTION: Registration is between 8:30-9 am. The 5 and 10km walks are to the north of downtown and are tree lined, shaded walks near lakes, through residential areas and passes Loch Haven Park (the Museum of Art, Menello Museum), thru Mead Garden, and along Antique Row. Restrooms are available at the start, Fresh Market, Mead Garden, and some area businesses.. Trail Ratings: 1A. Leashed pets are allowed. Carry water for your safety. DIRECTIONS: To Marks St Senior Center, 99 E Marks St., from Daytona/Sanford on I-4W, take Exit 83, Colonial Ave./FL50. Turn left on Colonial Ave. and merge to left lane. From Disney/Tampa via I-4E to Orlando, Exit 83A, Amelia; straight at bottom of ramp. Keep right and turn right at next light onto Colonial (FL50E). BOTH: Left on Magnolia, a oneway street, at traffic light,. Left at first traffic light, Marks St., to Senior Center immediately on right. From SR 408W/E exit toward Daytona onto I-4E. Use Exit 83A, Amelia and follw directions above from Disney. ALL: Enter thru door at courtyard. Black Walk Box is in Cardio Room in Fitness Center, on lower shelf to right of TV. The Fitness Center is right at the end of the long hall that runs through the center of the building. Once in the Fitness Center, turn right to go to the Cardio room. 15 September 2018 Celebration - A Traditional Walk

DESCRIPTION: Register between 8:30-9:30 am for walks of 6 or 10 km in residential areas of Celebration. Bring the family, friends, grandkids, yourself to a new shaded walking route in Celebration. Pets allowed. Wheelchairs and strollers are OK. Restrooms at start only. Info, call 407.695.9181.

DIRECTIONS: To Starbucks Coffee at 715 Bloom St., Kissimmee, from Daytona/Orlando on I-4W take Exit 64, bear left to Kissimmee exit onto US 192E to Celebration Av. Turn right on Celebration Av. From Tampa on I-4E take Exit 64, Kissimmee, right on US 192E, and right on Celebration Av. From Kissimmee on US 192W turn left on Celebration Av. From Cocoa & east Orlando on SR 417S take exit 2, Celebration Av. and turn left. ALL enter Celebration and go to 1st stop sign, turn left to Front St. Turn right to Starbucks at Bloom St. Park in any available place. Info on day of walk, 407.304.6394. GPS: 28.3176718,-81.541410.

22 September 2018 Lake Beresford Park

DESCRIPTION: Join the Happy Wanderers for a traditional Walk and a guided Bike on the trails inside the park and out onto the Spring-to-Spring rail trail. Register between 9:00-10:30 am.

DIRECTIONS: 2100 Fatio Road, DeLand, FL 32720 From I-4, take exit 116 to Orange Camp Road, driving east for about 5 miles. Orange Camp changes name to McGregor Road after crossing US-17. Continue straight unto road bends hard right and becomes Fatio Road. Park entrance is on the left, less than a mile. Drive to parking areas and look for IVV Banner and registration. 29 September 2018 Orlando South (opens at 9 am)
AVA Special Programs: 5/10K walk: See at Registration or MFM web site.

DESCRIPTION: Registration is between 9-9:30 am. The 5 and 10km walks are south of downtown. You walk on residential sidewalks. The 5km passes the historic train station and Orlando Health complex before ending thru residential areas. The 10K shaded route passes many lakes surrounded by Orlando's older homes which have retained their original charm. The walks will accommodate strollers and wheelchairs though some streets have no sidewalks. Please carry water. Leashed pets are allowed. Trail Ratings: 1A. Info, call 407.695.9181.

DIRECTIONS: To the Beardall Senior Center at 800 N Delaney Av. from I-4W, use exit 82B, Anderson St. Left to Orange Av. Right on Orange to 3rd light, Gore Av. Left, then left at mid block into the Senior Center. From I-4E use exit 82B Anderson St. Right on South St. Right on Orange Av. and go to 4th light, Gore. Left and then left at mid block to the Senior Center. From SR 408W use exit 11A, Rosalind Av. Left on South St. and stay in left lane to Orange Ave. Left on Orange to 4th light, Gore Av. Left and then left at mid block into Senior Center. From Ocoee on SR408E use exit 10C, Downtown. And stay in left lane to Delaney Av. Right on Delaney to Bay St and right, parking at the rear.
