DESCRIPTION:Register between 8:30-9:00, finish by noon, for the 5 and 10K walks. Walk fee is $3 per participant and children under 13 are free if not walking for credit. The 5 and 10K self-paced walks in residential areas in the Lake Conway Chain of Lakes are open to anyone and fun for all. The trails are acceptable for strollers but not wheelchairs as many streets have

DIRECTIONS: To the Starbucks at 5072 S. Conway Rd., Belle Isle, from Daytona/Orlando on I-4E/W take Exit 82, FL408E to exit 13, S. Conway Rd. Continue 3.9 mi passing Curry Ford and Michigan to Belle Isle Commons on right. From FL436N/S, Semoran Rd., turn left from N/right from S. on Hoffner Ave. Cross Hoffner and right into Belle Isle Commons. From FL528 (toll) use exit 12, Tradeport/Conway going 2 mi north. DESCRIPTION:Our 30th Anniversary 5K and 10K Walk from 9 am - 3 pm at one of our early 1990s walk venues will be a fun party and walk. Register from 9-10:30 am. Food, games, talks, as previous and current members join for a get together. The walks of 5 and 10K will be in the park, Seminole-Wekiva Trail, and nearby residential areas. 1st time walker? Great to have you join the fun. There is a walk fee of $3 for all and those under 13 walk for free if not a "credit" walker. Strollers acceptable and wheelchairs hard due to gravel paths. DIRECTIONS: The easy route to the park at 845 Lake Markham Rd, Sanford, FL, from Orlando use I-4E to exit 101C, Sanford/Mt Dora/FL46. Left on FL 46W. From I-95 us I-4W to exit 101C, FL 46/Sanford/Mt Dora. Turn right on FL 46W. For both go 3 miles. Left on Lake Markham Rd. to the park on the left. From The Villages on US441S go 25 mi. Left on FL46E for 15 mi. crossing the Wekiva River. Right for 0.8 mi. on Lake Markham Rd. to the park on the left. DESCRIPTION:Register between 8:30-9:15, finish by noon, for the 6 and 10K walks. Walk fee is $3 per participant and children under 13 are free if not walking for credit. The walks explore the area around and in Universal Parks and Resorts grounds and the beautifully landscaped Garden Walk which borders the magnificent blue-green CityWalk Lagoon waterway. Water taxis ply their trade back and forth from CityWalk to resorts such as Loews Portofino Bay. Note: airport scanners are in use-no weapons, sharp objects allowed. Join the Happy Wanderers, Mid-Florida Milers and Suncoast Sandpipers in a longstanding tradition: Walk Around Florida, a weekend of volkssports, food and camaraderie occurring in a different location each year. For 2019, the sponsors have chosen the Venice area of Sarasota County. Venice's lovely downtown and beautiful beaches, the storied circus past, the rail and aviation ties and the allure of a carnival theme proved irresistible to WAF 29 planners. DESCRIPTION:Register between 8:30-9:00. This YRE was MFM's 1st Traditional event in 1990 and 2d YRE. This event will unfortunately end 31 December. Walk 6 or 10K. This is the oldest AVA walk in a Florida park and is on the Park's trail map. You will have detailed directions and map. Note that the park fills early and there may be a delay at the gate. This event is on 70% shaded park trails, spring boil bridge, and boardwalk. Event SE19/Y0267. Trail is rated 2B and is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. DIRECTIONS: To the Park at 1800 Wekiwa Circle from Orlando and Daytona use I-4 exit 94. Turn left from Orlando and right from Daytona on FL434W for 1.0 mile. Turn right on Wekiwa Springs Rd. for 4.2 miles and right into park. The cost is $6 for 2-8 and $4 for one. Follow signs to register near Oak Pavilion. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto FL15N/E (Alt), Taylor Rd. Continue to follow FL-15 Alt N for 6.9 mi. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto US-17N for 3.0 mi. DESCRIPTION:Register between 8:30-9:15, finish by 12:15, for the 6 and 10K walks. Walk along I-Drive, a 'walking-speed' circuit of tourist attractions, including Ripley's, Madam Tussaud's, Wonder Works, The Wheel (400 ft. observation wheel), Titanic Experience, the 420 ft. spinning StarFlyer. Visit the convention Center and walk its "bridges". There are 50+ restaurants, helicopter rides, & mini golf. Restrooms on route and at Visitor Center. Please carry water. Event: SE19/114401.
