20 July 2019 Celebration #2 at Starbucks
AVA Special Programs: 5/10K walk: Bridges - Spanning the USA, Ice Cream Parlors, Make a Wish at a Water Fountain, Points of Reference, Take a Walk In a City Park, United States Post Offices, Walk the USA - Street by Street, Walking the USA A – Z:C.

DESCRIPTION: Register between 8:30-9:00 am for the 5 & 10K walks. Walk fee is $3 per participant and children under 13 are free if not walking for credit. The 5 & 10km self-paced walks are open to anyone and fun for all. Walk the residential areas and wooded trails that wind through this town. Great restaurants after the walk. DIRECTIONS: To Starbucks at 715 Bloom St., Kissimmee, from Daytona/Orlando on I-4W take Exit 64, bear left to Kissimmee onto US192E. Turn right on Celebration Av. From Tampa on I-4E take Exit 64, Kissimmee, right on US 192E, and right on Celebration Av. From Kissimmee on US 192W turn left on Celebration Av. From Cocoa and east Orlando on SR 417S take Exit 2, Celebration Av. and turn left. ALL enter Celebration and go to 1st stop sign, turn left to Front St. Right to Starbucks at Bloom St. Park in any available place. Questions on day of event, call 407.304.6394. DESCRIPTION: Register between 8:30-9:00 am for the 5 & 10K walks. Walk fee is $3 per participant and children under 13 are free if not walking for credit. The 5 & 10km self-paced walks are open to anyone and fun for all in quiet residential streets in Sabal Palms development. Wheelchairs and strollers acceptable. Carry water for your safety. DIRECTIONS: From I-4E/W take exit 92, FL434/Longwood/Winter Springs. Left from I-4E (right from I-4W) for 0.8 mile. Cross Montgomery/Wekiva Springs intersection and right into Publix parking. DESCRIPTION: Register between 8:30-9:00 am for the 5 and 10K walks. Walk fee is $3 per participant and children under 13 are free if not walking for credit. The 5K passes by the Antique Row and Mennolo Museum, crosses Lake Formosa onto the Orlando Dinky Line Urban Trail. The 10K route continues past Antique Row passing Advent Health complex (restrooms in Panera), wanders toward Mead Garden and exits along Lake Sue until it connects with the Dinky Line Trail at Orlando Ave. Leashed pets are allowed. DIRECTIONS: To Marks St. Senior Center, 99 E Marks St., from Daytona/Sanford on I-4W, take Exit 83, Colonial Dr./FL50. Left on Colonial Dr. and merge to left lane. From Disney/Tampa via I-4E use Exit 83A, Amelia; go straight at bottom of ramp. Keep right and turn right at next light onto Colonial Dr. (FL50E). From FL408W/E exit east toward Daytona onto I-4E. Use Exit 83A, Amelia; straight at bottom of ramp. Keep right and turn right at next light onto Colonial (FL50E). ALL: Left on Magnolia at 2nd traffic light, a one-way street. DESCRIPTION: Register between 9:15-9:45; Finish by 12:45 for the 5 and 10K walks. Walk fee is $3 per participant and children under 13 are free if not walking for credit. The 5 and 10km self-paced walks are open to anyone and fun for all. The 5K is in residential areas and a city park. 10K walkers start in a city park and continue to the Cross Seminole trail before passing the walk along the many Lake Mary shops before returning on Greenwood Blvd. thru residential areas to the library. DESCRIPTION:The Center opens at 9; register afterwards. This is a new route in 2019. The 5 and 10K (3.1 and 6.2 mi) walk registration is between 9:00-9:30. Walk instructions have local info on walk routes. You will walk on downtown and residential sidewalks. See historic downtown Orlando, Lake Eola, art projects downtown, and the County Courthouse. DIRECTIONS: To the Beardall Senior Center at 800 N Delaney Av. from I-4W, use exit 82B, Anderson St. Left to Orange Av. Right on Orange Ave to 3rd light (Gore Av). Left to Delaney Av. Left to Bay and park at rear. From I-4E use exit 82B. Right on South St. Then right on Orange Av to 4th light (Gore). Left to Delaney Av. Left to Bay and park at rear. From SR408W use exit 11, Rosalind. Stay in left lane to Orange Ave. Left on Orange to 4th light (Gore). Left to Delaney Av. Left to Bay and park at rear. From SR408E use exit 10C, Downtown.
