20-21 October 2018 WAF Workers Walks
AWARD: Stamp and award at 2-4 November Event.
AVA Special Programs: 6/10K walk: Depends on walk.
DESCRIPTION: Start between 9-11 am both days. This is a Mini vacation opportunity in Orlando as the WAF Team will offer all four WAF 28 walks (no swim) to volunteers who signed up or will sign up at Sign Up Genius. The rally point will be the Comfort Inn and Suites Hotel, 7672 Canada Dr., where the Walk Headquarters will be located. We will register on the patio from 9-11 am both days. We provide driving instructions to the start points, how to start the walk (as no signs are there), and route instructions. There will be both 6 and 10K instructions to walk. Call 407.304.6394 if you will be later than 11. For those staying in Orlando on your MINI VACATION, we meet at BJs across Sand Lake Road at 6pm Saturday eve for dinner, RSVP at rally point. Volunteers that are not pre registered will be asked to complete a preregistration form and pay (all events are $3) for walks done. This allows us to have the required waiver signed and will be easier for volunteers to check in at the event. You get both event and distance credit and can walk for distance during WAF 28 for the same fee.
Provide comments on the route instructions to firstname.lastname@example.org by 22 October. Please identify the walk, route instruction number, specific issue, and recommended change(s).
