DESCRIPTION: Register between 8:30 and 10:00 am for the 5 and 10 Km walks that are in residential areas north of the YMCA and Bay Hill. Pass Bay Hill club on 10K. Trail rated 1A. The walk accommodates strollers and wheelchairs. Restrooms are available at the Start/Finish only. Leashed pets are allowed. Always carry water. DIRECTIONS: DO NOT PARK IN YMCA LOT. To the parking at 7758 Wallace Rd. across from the YMCA, from downtown Orlando take I-4 to exit 74A, Sand Lake Road. Right for .75 miles. Right on Dr. Phillips Blvd. for .80 miles. Right before Wallace Rd. and park in medical building lot Look for white AVA event parking sign. Leave the lot to Dr. Phillips, turn right to Wallace and left crossing Dr. Phillips on Wallace Rd. to Y. The start is on the patio next to the parking lot. DESCRIPTION: Walk cost is $3. OptOutside on Black Friday with Mid-Florida Milers in quaint Mt Dora. Start between 9-9:30 am. Nice 5 and 10Km walks with some uncut curbs, short distances with no sidewalks. This bright, cheerful city has been voted as one of the Top 10 cities in which to live in America. You will see why as you stroll through the historic downtown area (an antique hunter's paradise); wander through the magnificently restored historic neighborhoods; trod the boardwalk along Lake Dora where alligators live and absorb the strong evidence of civic pride. DIRECTIONS: From I-4W take Exit 101C (SR46) (from I-4E use exit 101B) (SR46) and drive west to North Highland St in Mt Dora (~18.5 miles). Turn right onto N. Highland St and drive 4 blocks to traffic signal at E. 5th Ave. Turn left onto E. 5th Ave and drive approximately 0/5 mile to Donnelly St. Turn left on Donnelly St. Use parking garage at 250 N Donnelly St., just before RR tracks. It is behind The Lakeside Inn. From The Villages/Lady Lake drive on US 441S thru Tavares 23 miles to Donnelly (FL 44E to left). Turn right on Donnelly for 1.7 mi to parking garage at 250 N Donnelly St., just before RR tracks.
